You are probably correct. But I have a friend that's sucked into the alt-right pipeline and (I think) I'm slowly drawing them out with discussions like this. I think it's important to engage with real people who are misinformed. Maybe I just forgot I was on the Internet for a minute.

I'm not opposed to the ban. I agree China shouldn't have American's data, but it's not at all addressing the real problem. American companies also shouldn't have that data either.

I agree he was a weak candidate. If that link is correct, (thanks for providing it!) I did not realize he was polling so badly. Really, he should never have sought reelection and gave the DNC time to find a better candidate. They wouldn't have. But it would have been nice if they had a chance.

As an old white man I think he would have done better than Harris. Probably still wouldn't have won though. I think the only way the Dems could have won would have been to put up their own populist "outsider".

It's not just that corporations have gotten better at union busting. They have, but a lot (not all) of unions have also sold out to them.

imo the Dems aren't a political party. They are a coalition of not-Republicans.

YouTube sucks because it's full of mis- and disinformation that it's always pushing on you. But as long as you are a little careful and do some fact checking there also tons of good content.

It was also difficult to sort through all the content I wasn't interested in to find what I wanted to watch.

Decided not to renew my @nebula.tv subscription today. I love the idea of it, but there just aren't that many creators on the platform I'm interested in, and the ones that are post most of their content on YouTube. They do some nebula exclusive content, but nothing I can't live without.
