Like I can't even say the word "generation" to one of them without them going on a giant rant about how somehow the very concept of generations themselves was invented by capitalists to market products, and I can only pull my hair out in frustration at this point

A 3 panel comic where in the first one Serv is petting his new pet behemoth while it's eating from a small bowl of food in the kitchen. He says "Welcome home, bud! And they said having a behemoth was a bad idea, ha! Well, eat up little guy, so you can get big and..." his words are cut short as the behemoth pet grows more than twice as big after finishing the bowl in the second panel. Serv ends his sentence with "... strong? Uh-oh..." The third panel shows Serv and his pet a week later taking a walk in the park. The behemoth has grown so massive that he is carrying a big tree in his mouth as a stick. A passerby is running away in panic as Serv is shouting back "Don't worry, he's friendly! I promise!" Serv is holding a super long leash attached to the behemoth's collar that says "OINK" on it.

A three panel comic where in the first one Sin, who is working at the pet shop called "Little Monsters", is on the phone saying "Hi, this is Sin calling from Little Monsters. We wanted to see how your recent purchase from us has been working out. We've never sold a behemoth before, so we'd love some feedback." In the next panel we see Serv with a worried face, who is answering the phone. It's not clear where he is, since there are just some clouds in the background. "Uhh... okay, I guess?" he says. "One question though: How large are behemoths supposed to get again?". Sin is answering: "Hm, let me check that for you... Oh my! It say here can get as big as a horse!" In the third panel we see Oink the behemoth eating directly for a massive silo next to a PetCHOW factory. He is several times bigger than the factory itself. Serv is clinging onto one of Oink's horns as he answers: "A horse or a house? Either way, I think this one got a bit bigger than average... Maybe a lot bigger..."

A four panel comic where in the first one Sin is standing next to Serv outside. They are both looking somewhere into the distance, Sin with a face of disbelief while Serv has his arms crossed and looks annoyed. In the next panel Sin is saying "Okay, I think I see the problem now." In the third panel Serv is shouting at Sin "Oh do ya?!" while Sin is saying to himself under his breath "I'm not getting paid enough for this..." In the last panel we see a view of the now gigantic Oink laying around the whole city, belly up taking a nap while he is still growing!

Who would have thought that getting a little behemoth pet could have consequences this... big? I'm sure Serv will think twice before he gets another!

Guys, call me crazy but I think it's absurd that some artists/makers can take 100 percent up front payment and then just say "oh you'll get it when you get it." Like can somebody explain how this is the norm? It makes me upset to hear how people get ghosted when all they want is art of their own.
