A bird's-eye view of a former Auschwitz II-Birkenau camp showing a wide dirt pathway flanked by parallel rows of barbed-wire fences. Groups of visitors walk along the path, surrounded by the remnants of brick structures and barracks, now reduced to foundations. Green grass contrasts with the somber history of the site, as the path leads toward a guard tower in the distance.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.

Trump says Ted Cruz is in big trouble for skipping his speech today, so Ted comes running out from backstage to let Dear Leader know he didn’t leave. Pathetic.

The key takeaway is that the world’s richest man got what he wanted; stripped our cancer funding for kids, killed reforms to bring down drugs prices and caps on investment in China. Trump on the other hand demanded a debt ceiling raise and got nothing.

I'd really like to hear from every Democrat who's given an Elon-friendly quote recently whether it's a problem that the world's richest man and shadow president is openly endorsing neo-Nazis

Same elite journalists who said "How dare you condemn Trump voters for their sentiments, we must journey to their diners and listen respectfully to their grievances" are now saying "You people celebrating the murder of a CEO disgust me, this is an inappropriate response to whatever you're mad about"

Fortunately, orgs like Young Men Research Initiative have done extensive analysis of where persuadable voters get their news. Hint: they don't think of it as news, rather as funny and interesting content that keeps their ears busy at work

No matter how you explain the electoral losses this year, or how you plan on addressing them, data infrastructure is key.

Change the Game is best positioned to support organizations to train and support their data staff.

DM to connect.

If our Christianity causes us to say, “see how God can use King David even when he did horrid things!” to justify people in power we like instead of “Where is the prophet Nathan of our time who has been sent by God to call King David out for all his horrid actions?!” we need new theology.

Senator Tom Daschle withdraws as health secretary nominee Former senator Tom Daschle came under scrutiny over failure to pay $140,000 in taxes

When Obama nominated Tom Daschle -- a congressional leader with three decades of experience working on federal health care policies -- to be HHS secretary, the senator had to withdraw because a donor provided him with a car.

If only he'd beheaded a whale!

Tomorrow is a big day for two reasons:

1. It’s my 41st birthday!

2. I’m moving back to Texas!

The truth here is that you can't really become a made man in Trump world without at least one sexual assault or spousal abuse accusation. If you run down the list you'll see pretty quickly it's really like getting your button in MAGA. If you haven't been accused at least once you're just not trying.

If we are going to build political power we need a pool of data staffers who are skilled and diverse. This is CTG's work. changethegame.io

3. No organization or campaign uses data to its fullest extent and those that use data at all often do not use it well.

4. We need data staffers and they need to represent and understand the communities where folks organize - the majority cannot look like me.

1. Organizing cannot start during an election year and then end once votes have been cast. It has to continue year after year. Power-building is perpetual.

2. Elections are not an end but a means for organizing. There is so much more to building power than elections.

I'm not going to try to advocate for any specific failure or set of failures that led to Tuesday's result. There is truth in all the explanations and none of them provide a complete analysis.
Instead, I will thread a few things I know to be true:

Trump aides explore plans to boost Musk effort by wresting control from Congress The White House could challenge or seek to change a 1974 law that blocks presidents from choosing which programs to fund.

This crazy, destructive and wildly politically radioactive but doesn't mean they won't try it.
