My first soundcard was a Soundblaster 16 😂
I guess the first proper audio production card I got was a M-audio Audiophile 24/96. It was also an internal (PCI) card with phono in/out. It was the shit back then, but pretty lame by todays standards 😅
Never exploded, though!
