I swear I have the best manager in the world. Makes such a difference when you work for an org who actually cares about your well-being and goes out of their way to make sure you know that you are doing a good job. Feeling very blessed today!

Yesterday I purchased an ottoman so I would have more leg space on the couch (my couch is side on to the tv) and Emmie thinks it is wonderful and is taking up 4x the amount of leg space she previously took up.
Since I got sober almost 7 years ago I have saved over $145,000! That’s an insane amount of money…

This is also mentally exhausting when I spend weeks preparing with my counsellor and getting myself mentally ready to have to start all over again.
Ffs acc assessment was originally booked for August, it got cancelled 2 days before and rebooked for this Thursday, got the reminder email yesterday so was thinking oh yay it’s going ahead…. Just got the email to say it’s been cancelled again. Rebooked for in 2 weeks time now…….
Neighbour doesn’t like that our cat like to lay in his driveway in the sun so he blocked off the gap she uses…………… she just jumps over now haha 😂
Just got home from Auckland, mum was here with the cats until we got home. Couldn’t find miss Emmie (our youngest), her sister eventually led us to her hiding behind the clothes in the wardrobe. She doesn’t normally go in there but we left it open as another hiding option for her.
Big sister is protecting little sister who is right at the back under the bed. Meanwhile cat #3 is unphased

Tonight there was a standoff between all 3 cats over who got to sleep on the fluffy rug on the bed… Cleo (bottom cat) won the initial stand off but Emmie was not going to be out done and found her own space at the other end and promptly fell asleep. Now my legs don’t have any space!
