Found these stunning antique panels yesterday at Forestwood Antique Mall in Dallas. Couldn’t quite justify purchasing them in the end, but I was on the razors edge for a minute. 👀

This is the book I have!

My folks are in town and we celebrated my birthday a few weeks early, so I asked if we could do origami together as an activity. I used to get this book from the library as a kid and wanted to figure out at least one of the animals I could never make. They’re far from perfect, but we all made ibexs!

Hey guys, being real here, I might have to retire because I’m too good at finding expensive needlepoint canvases for criminally low prices and I need more time to disappear into the woods and stitch them 🤷

Got all my needlepoint cookies together for construction and then realized the absolute irony that I *cannot find the invisible thread to assemble them…*

Reordered and tackling that later this week 🤪

My dad is digitally archiving all of our home videos and I wasn’t prepared to be absolutely obliterated by the Christmas where I got my first needlepoint canvases. Needlework has meant so much to me and I’m blessed by how much my family has nurtured it my whole life 💖
