While I don't have experience of being discriminated against bevause of my Jewish blood (grateful), I am no stranger to discrimination. As a gay man that grew up in the south, I was bullied relentlessly throughout school.

So, I'm a secular Jew in that my mother was a Jew but I don't practice Judaism. I've had the pleasure of being born long past WWII and the holocaust, but that doesn't mean that I'm uneducated. I know how easy it is for a country to slip into fascism 🧵
