Spent part of today with @dartyscorner (Threads) Stitching Symbols Crochet Workshop focusing on Adinkra Symbols. I learned so much! Seeing her artistry in person (including her Love Letter to New Orleans Carnival Creation) this was just wonderful spending my Sunday afternoon on Bayou Road.1/2

Some of my fav pics after spending a lovely morning “outside” from Run on the Bayou to the postponed Algiers Mardi Gras Festival. But the best of all snuggle time with Drew while watching Bridgeton.

After my run this morning, walk with my Drew then Algiers postponed Mardi Gras Festival. It’s such a lovely day to be outside!

Woke up and went for a lovely run in Bayou Segnette in spite of it all, or maybe because of it all! It was a lovely morning on the bayou.

Then yeah after all the medal is a gator. Me, well being a slower runner the gator has sooooo many obstacles before it can get to me 😂🤷🏽‍♀️

First race of the year. I do miss my long sleeve tee (yes since in the winter we used to get a long sleeve tee) but it’s the nice soft fit so the miles will be worth it!

My only day I’ve gotten to watch The Olympics and I got to see the gold medal hockey game. And yes, with my Bobsled purchase I can now say I’ve supported the summer (see Flavor Flav Funko) and winter athletes. I’m eagerly awaiting my LA Games lottery results. Hopefully I’ll be in that number in ‘28.

Unfortunately this is the state of the healthcare system everywhere.

From 1/6 to 2/17 a time was had, even after marching with the band from elementary to high school and riding now for almost 10 years. I’m still in awe New Orleans.
