Yep it's on the bag and also on the straps although I crunchied the render so it's hard to tell.

Yeah, I don't like smoking because I had to grow up around that.

Render of a 3d scene with a Marlboro-themed sleeping bag in the center. Around it is an old TV on pause with some VHS tapes on the stand next to it. By the sleeping bag on the floor is a bowl of popcorn, and remote and drink cup.

Avoided sleepovers as a kid because my mom made me take the sleeping bag she bought with Marlboro points. So I made it in 3d for some reason! First tiny bit of art I've finished in months. Everyone else had their Princess Jasmine and Ariel, but I was Princess Cigarette

Oh yeah - I think I've seen those before. Looks like Keychron has some ceramic ones too. Not sure how much I'd like that feel or sound tho.

Screenshot advertising the "Keychron K2 HE Concrete." It reads: "Meet the K2 HE — in a premium concrete body. A refined fusion of industrial aesthetics and cutting-edge technology, the K2 HE Concrete Edition is built with an architectural-grade concrete composite housing. Its naturally textured surface delivers a cool, stone-like touch, while exceptional durability and a raw, minimalist finish give each keyboard a truly one-of-a-kind character. Merging the best of traditional mechanical keyboards with advanced magnetic technology, it delivers a superior typing and gaming experience."

Concrete keyboard. For all your brutalist typing needs. Sadly, the keycaps are just plastic - and the plate is still metal. But it is almost 4lbs. If keyboard weight is important to you..

"Lara already looks much better with skinned joints and 200 more polygons!" Took me a second to realize what "skinned joints" meant. But okay so 1999 was that year. Still PS1. So technically skinned joints are also PSX aesthetic

Collage illustration showing Link, from The Legend of Zelda, leaving a dungeon, holding a sword and shield. The dungeon entrance is sculpted as a monster face, around which 2 spider-like creatures are lurking.
There is a row of stylized repeated trees in the background, and a mountain far in the distance. A fairy hovers in the foreground over some bushes.

Collage illustration based on The Legend of Zelda, for the NES. Link is going up a set of stairs up the mountain, towards a dungeon entrance in the background. But in front of him, in the middle-ground, there is a plateau with a group of Armos statues. One of them, of a different color, seems animated and is coming to fight Link.

Collage illustration based on The Legend of Zelda. Link fights a giant hand trying to grab him. The ground they are standing on is made of rock blocks forming paths and a platform, surrounded by a bright red liquid that looks like lava. There is a skeleton in the foreground, trespassed by a sword, and a dirty old door with a big keyhole in the background.

Zelda 40th anniversary, that's a big one! Time to pull these out (I try not to spam them so much these days, but today it's mandatory).

Also, a 35% promo on my website started just in time, in case you'd like to celebrate with a print! 🙏

I should stress that the 8k facial pore occlusion map is:

1. real
2. something I've seen at multiple studios
3. mipped to hell on anything but a full-screen shot of a character's face in a high res screenshot during photo mode

It's bittersweet seeing a legend like James Baxter pop in to guest-animate a sequence for some TV series now and then

On the one hand: holy shit James Baxter is one of the best to ever do it

On the other: the infrastructure that cultivated James Baxter's skills doesn't really exist anymore

every shot-on-video, made-with-a-camcorder horror movie that's just some teenage friend group fucking around in the woods with some fake blood and a monster mask contains more artistic merit, human joy and creative light than anything AI has ever made or will ever, ever make
