Support Josie's Gender Affirmation! Well, the time has finally come for me to go and get my big gender-affirming surgery. This is a big step, but it’s one that’s been coming for a while and one I’m really excited about!

As some of you know, I'll be getting my gender affirmation surgery at the start of July. I'm very excited and quite nervous, and also it's going to cost me roughly nine quadrillion dollars, so I've got a donation drive going for anyone who would like to help out.

The majority really don't understand what it's like to be housebound. The one good thing about the pandemic was no longer feeling pressure or guilt to go outside. The world wants everyone to "get back to normal" but won't make it accessible for those who need it.

This happened to me a lot while marking this year. One made up reference was "authored" by one of my colleagues, and the fake doi connected to a real paper by another colleague that would have been a relevant and useful source had it actually been used.
