Manatear comic – Chapter 3 Wayfinder – Page 48 – By Adalore December The wolverine(currently tiny plush) and Chaujen Red Panda bed down for the night. Their tiny tent lit by Chaujen’s lantern staff. Panel 1 – Chaujen turns away from December to sleep for the night. December is still sitting on top of her massively oversized bedroll. Chaujen: “Rest well, December.” “Good night.” Panel 2 – December bundles herself into bed with a determined scowl. December thoughts – “Okay, I’ll get the best sleep to deal with tomorrow.” “Make sure that I’m not just a burden for getting plushed.” Panel 3 – There is a caption box that declares “3 hours later” December has kicked her blankets off of herself, she is laying totally splayed out eyes wide open. Crisscrossing the panel are stray thoughts “defenseless, burden, small, weak, dependent, etc. in suffocating repetition. December is not having a good time.
