But the current warming does lead to an increase in instabilities in permafrost terrain, so yes, i would expect this to be a huge challenge for ski resorts in the futureβ¦

Trying to be more active on here - so for a quick intro: iβm a first year phd at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. My research focuses on Alpine periglacial environments and to be more precise, the influence of permafrost on the motion mechanisms on landslides (1/2)
