Looking back at my art when I was a teenager is seriously triggering, it's also validating in some way. I made some beautiful pictures when I was clearly not okay. I'm not exactly sure what teenage me was going through while painting this but I hope they knew deep down they'd be okay.

What gets me is the amount of assumptions jumped. I spent 22 years fighting my way out of hell to get to bare minimum and clean. Very rude.

Clearly I've upset you because you've jumped to a million assumptions that are blatantly wrong. I grew up with an alcoholic dad that was gone for weeks at a time just to feed us in our nasty ass home surrounded by drug addicts. Please seek help, because you lashing out like this is not normal.

Determination. Art isn't about talent or skill, you'll actually find that a majority of artists get popular from their social circles and communication. When you sell/promote art you're not promoting a material, you're promoting a part of yourself. So no matter what your making, there is an audience
