He is very thoughtful & “emotional” player, I have already seen him cry a lot on pitch & be totally lost in confidence (his first NZL match was the first time he has been bullied by media & “fans”) so it is awful to see him crumble when I know what he is able to do at club but not at international

I am actually running his fan page on instagram so the dedication to hype up JvP is high 😂 , I wanted him to be comforted after all the hate wave he has received from English fans … I am a bit jelly of you for that present 💝 not gonna lie 😂

It is the kind of reactions that annoys me,after the game he probably needed treatment for that leg so try to be compassionate as well? He probably just wanted to go home or enjoy the win with team mates.I can understand the frustration for fans as a fan myself but maybe it wasn’t the best strategy

Stop taking everything for granted & act accordingly when you see the player doesn’t want interaction it is as simple as that. Ask for consent. Even more at international tournaments they don’t have time for everyone like at home clubs so don’t make a fool out of yourself to ask for the impossible 🙄

Rugby players are usually very good with fans & approachable but some people are so entitled to their tunnel vision of « I paid for a game so I deserve the full package » no you paid to watch a game of rugby, the rest is extras & lucky if it happens, clubs are already doing a lot for inclusivity tbh

I will say it as long as it takes : players don’t owe you anything, just because you are their fan or your child plays for the boyhood club of the said player you are trying to get an autograph for. They are human being allowed to be tired after a game or having a bad day after a loss. Let them be

He scared me so much and was still a bit limping at the end of the game ! I think tigers should rest him this weekend, it isn’t the first time I see him struggling since he is back from his ankle injury he should have stepped out in my opinion as soon as he was struggling

#Englandrugby, not wanting to be a naysayer about Steve but there is so much of his approach that is neither building for the future nor short term results. It would be so much easier to manage losses if there was a clear identity for the future. We are not a top 5 team.
