that's infinitely more respectable behavior than antis generalizing an entire fanbase, wanting cece and gigi to stop hanging out w/ each other as a way to stick it to the shippers. wanting a beautiful bond such as theirs to end bc of your vendetta is worse than shippers who enjoy what they're given

i've seen plenty of fans self-moderate; reigning themselves in by calling their shipping them "delusions" and convince themselves they're nothing more than best friends, only to be met with autofister making it harder and harder to believe that there isn't a SLIGHT possibility of something more.

on autofister shenanigans, whether to fan the flames or (more likely) bc they genuinely want to spend time together and share some of those moments with their fans. and we're not even talking about the moments off-screen, from other talents' testimonials and observations about how close they are

after gigi came out as demi ace-spec, she took the time to encourage her fans to continue shipping her! she's more than okay with it! it feels pointed at ppl who only bring up her sexuality as a way to dissuade shipping. whenever someone cries about shippers taking it too far, ccgg double down

antis doomposting about autofister LOVE to bring up takamori as an example of how fans "ruined" the ship (it's not dead, just evolved), forgetting that ccgg/tkmr are different ppl and don't share the same thoughts/feelings. if cece and gigi wanted fans to tone it down, they would've said so already.

the things they do together sound straight out of fanfic. you don't "ship" ccgg, you merely witness their relationship. it sails itself. calli telling cece "i'mma steal your girl"? it's comical how every time there's a wave of naysayers, something amazingly autofister happens to drown them out

lrp; autofister can make even the hardest of hearts long for a soulmate to complete them. even outside shipping, their bond is a sight to behold. a movie-esque romantic dance lift, coupled in between gigi throwing it back on cece (who's hitting that ass) and gigi folding cece like a lawn chair.

the most chaotic cupid... golshi will terrorize couples while also bringing them together, so who's to say if that's a bad thing or not

there are some characters you find unshippable and for me i think that's gold ship. not that she can't be serious/sincere, but it's hard to see her in any sort of romantic context. she's an omnipresent agent of chaos who's above romance. sole mission in life is to be a menace and derives joy from it

seeing ppl try to ot3 tei/maku/nei is kinda funny to me, bc natie being doomed to yearn is the point. she has a song about it. it's what makes her likeable, like palmer.
different strokes tho. i'm increasingly intrigued at the prospect of ace/palmer, so idk, maybe one day a nature ship will resonate

grateful for small community spaces where it's comfortable to talk about unpopular things you like. rdgr p much supplanted tm as my fave umatp, and while i still love tm, i don't really feel a strong need to contribute when it's so hard to find any rdgr in the first place compared to almost-daily tm

tbh i considered giving her the same hair color as teio, but ended up not. it's kind of a big point that teio resembles rudolf, but teio did take after natural in many ways (my own interpretation lol). they were a happy family in what time they had together 🥺

i KNOW rudolf would be a panicked, but loving father who'd give her all to help her wife in the time she needs it most! she's no deadbeat!!

i haven't done fan designs for a long time lol, outside of drawing my own ak doctor, i guess.
and natural had a type of muscular dystrophy with her legs, so given genetic predisposition, it stands to reason teio also inherited her fragility (but luckily not the actual disease that killed her mom)

especially for annoying memes/jokes that are "based on canon" but either 1) flanderized or 2) taken out of context. and all-too often, these types of unfunny reductive takes are the ones that breach containment, typically perpetuated by Big Name accounts who refuse/do little to course correct

i get humor is subjective, but damn... i really have to question the ppl who keep regurgitating the same tired old "jokes" ad nauseum. "X is racist", "continue the bloodline" "Y getting ntr'd" "Z is a clanker (<- obv slur stand-in so pp can teehee)"

nothing in particular, just thinking about my past fandoms and the correlation between my level of enjoyment in a community and how my faves are perceived. social media + declining attention spans/decreasing comprehension = popularized reductive takes for the purpose of humor/engagement. it's bleak

came up with a fan design of teio's irl mother, tokai natural. tho teio looks a lot like rudolf, i like to imagine that natural (unfortunately) passed her ailments onto her son (and ended up dying early on)
