I had a good 2025, fiction wise, with three published short stories, a novelette (cowritten with Mercurio D. Rivera), a short story collection (my first), and a novel.

I was set to list my favorite books of 2025 a week ago, but @thelincoln.bsky.social came in under the wire with Metallic Realms. A Trekkie's book like Redshirts or Galaxy Quest: you have to love Star Trek to really enjoy how goofy and lampoonable it is. Wild on talent and fandom.
