Love this word. Let's use it in a sentence!
The β¨enshittificationβ¨ of AI is rampant. Instead of asking how this tech can better society, we ask how to monetize it, and act as if the answers are the same. They're not.
I cannot thank my colleagues enough for this award. I have so many words, but none of them capture the gratefulness I feel to be teaching at Saint Mary's College

Hostile architecture in an ER is wild. Hard metal, perforated seats, and upward-angled seats make it incredibly uncomfortable to sit. People in the ER are already in pain and distress? Why make waiting even harder?

This reflected early, unscientific ideas linking food and behavior. I wonder if we still have outdated ideas about mental health that still persist today.

21.01.2025 18:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Once, I visited Scotland for a #nursing conference; I felt so out of place. Then, this Irish woman (she told me she was), a little drunk and full of joy, struck up convo. We talked and laughed like old friends. Her warmth made me feel at home. I still think about her and hope she's doing well.

Thank you so much! I am very interested in this title, "Mental health nursing: A profession that
must be valued"

Thank you for making this available, even though I'm in the US there are definitely some pearls to be had.

Oval silver-looking metal badge, the outer rim is inscribed Ayrshire Central Hospital Maternity Section, the inner oval contains a 'sculpture' relief of a woman (with bobbed hair) holding a baby. looks 1960s-ish. pretty
round metal and enamel badge. the outer rim is dark blue and inscribed with Ayrshire Central Hospital in gilt metal. The inner is a pale blue enamel disc with and intertwined C and H (interestingly missing the A). Relatively plain. Does the job.
Today's #HistNursing #Badge is actually two badges for your delight, both from #Ayrshire Central Hospital in Irvine.
