The plant monster also has cold powers for some reason? It really feels like the Sentai version had some power with its blossoms that caused people to freeze up and it wasn't translated well because it's not like the monster uses ice in anything we just go by the characters saying it's freezing

I can excuse you not catching these very unsubtle messages when you were a kid, because you're a dumb kid, but you're like 40-50 now if you're still unaware then you haven't seen it recently or you're just very fucking stupid

Every single time I go back and watch some show from the 90s I enjoyed as a kid it's like this. There's a moral lesson in every episode and it's never subtle, they really rub it in your face. The only difference from now is that the moral lessons are stuff you losers hate

In an episode of Power Rangers they flat out say fighting dirty is bad and that you fight clean if you want to win. It's not subtle, you're just stupid
