It was more so me just getting interested in drawing creatures and monsters more than characters. I don't hold the setting itself in any contempt, I'm just not as jazzed about it as I used to be back then.

To go into the characters themselves a bit, they're actually the same species. They were meant to be body builders - as in they designed and built custom bodies for their clients. Vela handled the visual drafts and aesthetics, while Rista did the actual construction of the bodies.

In between drawing new stuff, might as well share more old art that I dug up, circa 2021. These two are Rista and Vela, characters from a more 'arcane' setting I've largely abandoned, but still think about sometimes. I don't plan on drawing them again anytime soon.

Heart Attack Kid was something I made up as a teenager for a sort of ‘let’s design some mutant heroes and villains’ worldbuilding thing I did with a few friends. The other one’s name is Norman Sader, he was intended to be the villain for a completely different setting, which I have since discarded.

Commission done for a friend of a friend, of their tiefling character, Z. A living hive for a hungry swarm - lots of holes, and lots of bugs.
