So I've never played Dungeons & Dragons, but I'm surrounded by friends who do, and have wanted me to give it a try for years. I don't really intend to start anytime soon, but if I do, this would be my first character - Kettle the Barbarian.

Pteromechs are artificially grown exploration and combat vessels using Pteromite DNA as a baseline. They can't function on their own, they need pilots to do anything at all. Haven't figured out what all they can do yet, but I'm including some sorta-biopunk weaponry and communication systems.

Have restarted this two times because I couldn't get the body structure right. Still very much a work in progress, just rough lines and flats for now.

Zombies. The fast kind. Little smarter. They swarm prey, jab into them, pump them full of a yellow acid they produce internally, then suck out the acid-viscera mixture after it’s all melded together. Once they’re full, they scurry back home.

I've wanted to revisit an old critter concept of mine for a while - Nightjabbers. Small, skinny things that come out on the full moon in hordes of hundreds, attacking anything in sight for a few hours before going back to their lair. Just a sketch for now, will develop later.

Originally a wild species entering the first stages of proper tribalism, later discovered and uplifted by a more advanced warfaring collective, then outfitted with cheaply manufactured armor and weapons, and sent to the proverbial meat grinder as bulk troops.

Slowly working on a full set of Wartrotter pieces. This is an unarmored one. I've already had four friends admit they thought these were supposed to be robots before I drew this.

Sitting in my head was an old idea for a sort of vague origin lore piece for Needlemaidens. Finally got around to drawing the whole thing out. Wanted to practice a slightly more painterly approach, and I think it turned out okay.
