The rain we encountered sure did some flooding, I captured theses photos from the train. We got back to Kalamazoo, MI. and our Son picked us up and home we went. I hope everyone enjoyed these photos from this past trip. It was just a great time to do this since its been a cold winter. #midwest

We stayed in Flagstaff one last night and hopped back onto the Amtrak Train and headed to Kalamazoo, Michigan. These photos were taken from the train showing the weather we had on the way back in New Mexico and Kansas, It rained and rained. #amtrak

Today we are at the south side of the Grand Canyon, It is much more viewed by tourist from everywhere. I do recommend a trip to see this awesome place. #grandcanyon

We traveled from the Crater to Sedona, AZ, many stops on the way to capture views of the area. We then stayed in Flagstaff, AZ. I hope everyone is enjoying the trip we were on years ago. #outwest

Today we are at Meteor Crater Natural Landmark, near Winslow, AZ. This is privately owned and an awesome site to see, It was a really windy day when we were there. This crater is about 4000 feet across. #meteorcrater

Leaving the North Rim and traveling through the Navaho Reservation. There was not much vegetation and just a lot of rocks. Very interesting formations. I also had to stop at bridge that was built right into the rocks ( I don’t remember the name of the river) . #outwest

These are all photos taken several years ago and I wanted to post some that I never had, plus its fun to go back in time. Leaving the National park and headed toward the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Due to winter most of the viewing areas were closed off. #travelingwest

We left from the Hoover Dam and traveled through Las Vegas and headed to Zion National Park. These photos are all from the park. Enjoy! #nationalparks

On this day we left Death Valley and stopped by some of the lookouts. Headed to the Hoover Dam and stayed at a hotel with a view of Lake Mead. Enjoy! #hooverdam

I thought I’d take a break from the photos of the trip to share a winter photo for you. I hope you have enjoyed the trip we were on. We have more photos coming. #winter

We stayed in Furnace Creek for the night, It was really hot there and we could use that heat right about now. These were additional photos taken as we headed towards the Hoover Dam. Enjoy!

We traveled into San Francisco and enjoyed seeing friends, Then traveled inland to Yosemite National Park. Here are some photos of El Capitan and Half Dome. We had blue skies until we entered the park and it became overcast. Oh well, it was a wonderful time. #yosemite_national_park

Traveling south along the coast we ventured into Point Arena Lighthouse. We had beautiful weather when were here. The rock formations were awesome. I hope everyone is enjoying this past trip. #pointarena

Traveling south from the Redwood forest we were back on the coast in Northern California. Highway 1 is the most beautiful ride there is. Enjoy! #westcoast

Once again we are out west viewing photos taken during a trip from several years ago. We ventured inland to the Giant Redwoods. These trees are awesome to see. My wife is in some of the photos so you can see the size of these Redwoods. Enjoy!! #redwoods

We are still viewing photos from a trip out west. Today we have photos of flowers that were in bloom in the spring. I don’t know what type of flowers these are. It is just good to see flowers when its this cold out! #westcoast

Another cold day here in Northern Michigan. Today we have more photos from the West Coast. Oregon is a beautiful State! These are photos that I have taken and never posted for you to see. So I thought I’d share them with you now. #westcoast

Happy Monday! We had another cold night last night. I hope everyone isn’t getting tired of seeing these photos. Today we are still in Oregon on the Ocean, its fun to look back at these. #oregoncoast

We had another cold night here in Michigan, 5 below last night. Today we are highlighting the West Coast. We stopped in Corvallis to see our Niece and her husband and ended up at Yachats Oregon. We traveled here years ago for our honeymoon. Love the coast of Oregon. Photos from our trip.

We are having very cold temperatures these days, 15 below last night. Glad we are seeing these warmer photos. These photos were taken in Washington State as we traveled around Mount Rainier National Park. We headed south from here. #coldweather

This was the last day of the Train trip to Seattle, WA. We traveled through the mountains at night. These photos once again were taken from the train, sunset taken on the last night. We arrived in Seattle and picked up a car and headed South. #amtrakviews

So were on a journey heading west on a train, we were on the train for four days and three nights, glad we had a sleeper car. On this day we traveled through North Dakota and Montana. These photos were all taken from the train. #amtrak

Several years ago we traveled by Amtrak to Seattle from Kalamazoo Michigan. I captured many photos that I did not share. This was taken from the train while traveling through North Dakota. An old homestead in the Prairie. I hope you will enjoy this trip with us. #Prairie

Well, we are in a winter storm warning until tomorrow morning. Cold temperatures with high winds. I would say Enjoy, however I have to say that I am looking forward to Spring. #snow

We were told that we only were to get up to three inches of snow for that weekend, well we have over 7” yesterday and 5” more last night. #winterwonderland

We received more snow yesterday and there is more to come, along with colder temperatures. Looking at going back several years and highlighting some of the trips we have been on and sharing photos with you very soon. Enjoy! #snow
