This should remind us of a very important thing in sci publishing: please take your time with the decision letter.

What at first may seem terrible or unfair, may turn out not to be like that once you think about it for a bit.

Also, don't impulse-reply to the editor. Again, please take your time 😊

1/3 New preprint led by Shanshan Wang, in collaboration with the Timmermans lab.

Several groups have presented sc/snRNA-seq analyses of Arabidopsis leaves after bacterial infection before. Is there anything left to discover? Turns out: Yes.

On the left, an SEM image of overproliferation inflorescence meristems of the ap1 cal mutant and on the right, an SEM image of many synchronized floral buds 5 d after dexamethasone (DEX) treatment are shown. (B) Overview of the workflow and sampling scheme. The extraction buffer Trizol was used, so from the same tissue sample, RNA and protein could be extracted. Subsequently, RNA-seq and LC-MS/MS were performed, followed by data analyses. SEM images provided by JosΓ© Luis Riechmann.
