The games main meta elements? Around those two. Base plot, mainly revolves around those too. Main moral alignments and where you're being pushed. Between those two. There's kind of like a superposition of overselling sans' importance in geno, thus leading to paci and neutral being undersold.

Imo I think people kinda undersell the essential part sans plays in Undertale. Like people know he's important in geno and stuff, but I don't see it talked about to the level it should. He and Flowey TOGETHER make up the main narratives of the whole game, in all the routes, they are the main two.

Love how every "dusttale but flowey" take just doesn't realize that flowey was already crazy in UT, so the prospect of seeing a 10% crazier flowey just completely falls flat
