Yea, honestly I might just do very small sketches and just use those for full renders

Does anyone ever feel like their drawing looks better when it's small?

Why does it do that?
I feel like I can exaggerate poses much more when I'm working with a doodle-sized drawing

But if I start with a big sketch right off the bat, it just feels really stiff

I still think Ducts and Karak are worse to traverse

The enemies in a certain green place accessible in the last act are much more annoying though

I typically don't play Metroidvanias either

But there's just something about Hollow Knight and Silksong that are just so engaging

I can kind of see the previous one being done in Flash (if it is) but the lighting on this one is playing tricks on me

How does the platforming fare compared to act 2?

Why do sketches/doodles feel more lively or loose than when you do a render sometimes?

I had to straight up use my mini sketch reference as the actual outline for a bigger render because my initial drawing just feels so stiff

Tbf tho I haven't fully explored Bilewater yet, but I'm assuming it gets worse when I have to do a runback or something. So far the portion I've explored is for a search quest

When Silksong so good you injured your thumb by the time you reach Act 2

...now I can't play until it's healed

I'd say it wasn't bad but there's a lingering sting on my joint because I applied too much pressure using my joint and tip of my thumb for the attack/jump inputs

Naming Silksong as "Hollow Knight: Silksong" should be illegal

You can no longer look up Hollow Knight OSTs without getting spoiled

Don't look up anything Hollow Knight for guides, it's impossible with how well Silksong is doing atm
