I've asterisked "trans" because the NHS doesn't talk about trans healthcare. Revealing its ideological leanings, NHS England instead talks about people who are sick with the illness of "gender dysphoria," something of which, presumably, they should be cured.
For anyone wondering whether to respond to the consultation.
Don't bother.
They are not interested in good healthcare. Not even interested in a semblance at good evidence-based healthcare.
And this is the anti-trans logic loop:
1. demand evidence
2. design reviews that cannot find evidence
3. cite absence of evidence as justification for withdrawing care
4. use withdrawal of care to prevent generation of new evidence.
It's what the Reagan administration did to trans folks.

What would the causal mechanism be that makes 16yo trans girls immune to the effects of estrogen that manifest in every age group that has been studied -- including age groups that include but aren't limited to 16-17yos?

No report in the Guardian about a woman MP being attacked on International Women’s Day by transphobic fascists after just a week in the job.

If you have been blessed with a trans child;
1. Keep them away from the NHS
2. Try and move abroad if you can
3. Be prepared to fight transphobic staff at school
4. Find other sources of hormones/medication. If you can, get a car loan to pay for them.
5. Protect them from all governmental agencies.
I am once again begging y'all to stop using their framing.
The UK is ending access to medical and social transition because it wants to get rid of trans people.

This is the part of this story that I just can't wrap my head around. If you're airing it on a two hour delay, why wouldn't you edit this out?
If anything being diagnosed with a autism or ADHD means by default there was some funkiness with sex steroids in the womb, but how it affects brain masculinization or feminisation is based on your hormone receptors, ability to excrete them so they don't build up, any deficiencies in enzimes.
I mean it is linked to transness because it's downstream from one getting a non standard dose of sex hormones in the womb. They dont panic over 50 percent of klinefelter's XXY intersex patients having autism or 70 percent of Jacobs syndrome XYY having autism.
