All of the metro areas in Texas vote blue. Gerrymandering has made it almost impossible to elect a Democrat statewide. We do need to get more people to the polls, but it's tough here. 48 percent of us did not vote for this.

We're seeing this in Dallas, along with pets left behind after ICE raids. Several rescue organizations, including ours, The DAWG Project, are trying to help people keep their pets.

Yes there are. Too many corporations refuse to pay a living wage.
Huge companyies are encouraging their employees to apply for SNAP because they don’t pay them enough to survive.
The government encourages this & then blames the poor.
The Walton family (who own Walmart) are worth over $400 billion, yet many of their employees are on SNAP.
Bezos is worth over $400 billion, many Amazon employees require SNAP.
The people who need help are not the problem.
It’s corporate greed. It’s an unwillingness to pay a living wage.
