Sun-bleached, fraying, abandoned.

Loud patriotism put them up. No pride stayed to look after them.

Pride is upkeep, not noise.

We’re more fragmented now, drifting toward an always on, US-style convenience culture. KFC isn’t the cause, it’s the symptom.
