Indeed I do know where you are. If you see Steve Gray at AC cars say hello.

Gosh, I remember when we had an actual president instead of a loudmouth bully who won't take responsibility for his actions.

Open up, reach out, ask for help, talk about your fears. #Suicide line: 9-8-8 anywhere in Canada.β€οΈ
12.12.2024 16:32 β π 5 π 3 π¬ 0 π 0We used to holiday in Norfolk as a kid and he would tell me of his
Coastal Defence work and the places he knew and had been stationed. He also served down in Cornwall during those three years and could navigate there without a map easily into the 1990βs.
I have a number of stories. Particularly about Burma. He was a signals officer, seconded from his Royal Warwickshire regiment to a division of the Leicesters who went out with the Durham light infantry.
I have his medals & his Kukri Gurkha knife. When I did my MA I was researching surviving veterans
My father was stationed there, and also in Blakeney in Norfolk, on coastal
defence from 1939-41. In 1942 he was deployed to Burma returning home in 1946 a full year after the wars end.
A man wearing a flat cap, seated upon a vintage 1965 BSA thunderbolt motorcycle parked in front of his 1930βs Chrysler Airflow car, inside a barn somewhere in darkest Suffolk/Norfolk borders.
Another gearhead with a Chrysler airflow and a 65BSA. As you do and have barns full of interesting old vehicles.

Their son sits on his yellow schwinn bicycle with a stack of vintage skateboards next to him. They all are cool, laconic, exuding style and a retro vibe.
From my series Gearheads, a delve into the British hot rod and kustom car scene. Where passion and skill resurrect vintage vehicles in the ultimate act of recycling.
