Beautiful! I’ve only known the Nico version, and never knew it was written by JB.
He’s an artist I’ve totally overlooked, i’ll have to dive in.

I also stayed in the upstairs disco when Bleach era Nirvana played downstairs even though I paid to get in.
Starting to see a pattern?
It’s really good! Listened to most of it yesterday in a binge session, totally unbelievable.

If I could travel back in time with this kid as a guide, give me the battle of Passchendaele please and I’ll push him right out in front of me into enemy fire.
The contortions Mick must get into to achieve his ‘style’. It’s really not natural. Who interprets ’Fingernails’ in that way?

Happy Birthday Tracey
I get this a lot. My work on official portraits of the Queen, still hanging in the National Portrait Gallery was all done for free. Obviously exposure, but come on, can’t afford a few hundred quid for my time?

Loads of staff in hotspots/conflict borders. less staff elsewhere.
Basket of Light is very very good, Cruel Sister too. Haven’t listened to many others though.

Then tried to educate on the benefits of migration, while simultaneously processing as many asylum seekers as possible. Empty the hotels by permanent settlement or removal.
I don’t think that’s totally true. Agree he’s not deeply embedded in any ideology, not like Corbyn or Blair, but I don’t think the choices were made because they were easier, I think they were concentrating on trying to appease a right wing biased media, following instead of setting the narrative

(I know who stole them too although he denied it - bastard).
A hell of a lot of people have been saying this from very early on in this term. How they couldn’t see this for themselves is incredibly worrying. It’s been a disastrous waste of time for them.
25.09.2025 06:26 — 👍 7 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0It’s an average, I have travelled all over, my family are Welsh, one of the wettest parts of the UK, I understand that there is high rainfall in some areas, that is EXACTLY what the map shows.
England and the UK are two different geographical areas.
England AVERAGE is dry compared to UK average.
The ‘facts’ are shown on the map, England is dry compared to most of the uk (england average, not just devon and cornwall and lancashire).
I think OP posted the map to show that climate change could make this a serious issue if rainfall continues to drop in certain parts of the UK.
You are showing yourself to be very hard of thinking.
London is surprisingly dry
England as a geographical area is dryer than the whole of the UK.
There was nothing in the original post about global averages.
why the clown faces?
What are you asking me for I don’t care. I was just commenting on the original post making sense. If you are interested in the figures go look them up.

Can you just imagine how bad a place America would be in now if they had voted for a woman though. Especially one who laughs.

22.09.2025 15:29 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It’s not difficult. England as a whole is a dry place.
London has similar rainfall to Jerusalem.
Obviously there are places in England with higher than average rainfall.
That’s how we get the average figure.
You are trying to make a point, and calling people clowns. And looking a bit silly.
She was not saying it is, they are two different points:- England is a very dry place. London is as dry as Jerusalem. You can’t say England is as dry as Jerusalem because England as a whole is wetter than London.
HTH.
