My way of coping with all of the madness is focusing on what I can do to make my community a little bit stronger. So excuse me for all of the earnestness, but I wrote about ways we can all pitch in to support a thriving literary culture. lithub.com/how-to-be-a-...

Something Good in the World: Let’s Celebrate Independent Bookstore Day This Weekend I was going to write something else for today’s column, something complain-y but righteous that would allow me to get some stuff off my chest and maybe even get some rage clicks. Shit is bad. But I…

As a lapsed Catholic, for me, Pope Francis introduced layers to a religion I'd grown up in, was unsure of, and became even more critical of in adulthood. He opened up different conversations on faith and care than I was used to hearing in church growing up. I'll be thinking about that a lot.

The best free AI courses and certificates in 2025 I have a master's degree in education and have been working with AI for decades. Here are the top free AI courses online I'd recommend to anyone looking to upskill right now - and why.

“IBM, of course, is IBM. It led the AI pack for years with its Watson offerings. Its generative AI solution is called Watsonx. It focuses on enabling businesses to deploy and manage both traditional machine learning & generative AI” @davidgewirtz.com on IBM SkillsBuild
