just to clarify the other game I put in my "do not play" list the AI usage was to generate art for posters and voices. I don't mind AI controlling enemies because that's just game design, but if you're using it to cheat real people out of jobs for shit that steals from artists and VA fuck off lol

I do see one PC game and it looks bad in like stereotypically boring but a cursory glance I don't seem to see they use gen AI so I might take it on next week if it's still available by then

I still can't get over who decided to have Escha beat the shit out of Logy without even talking to him. You know, the guy she trusts explicitly? The guy she has an obvious crush on? The guy she usually is patient with and understanding? Whoever wrote that doesn't understand their bond lol

me and barn were taking notes as we compared the two episodes lol (and first photo is one of the safer shots lol)

Such a shame too cause otherwise they do the story great in this anime!! If you like the game definitely give it a watch! It even gives some backstory for Eschas mom since you never see her in the game IIRC so that's cool, and again the sequence of events is much cleaner like the 8 Linkas events

and again it killed the budget so bad, next episode had a scene where they reused the exact scrolling right frame THREE TIMES and one running scene where the characters upper torso didn't move, and it was all for an episode that frankly sucked ass lmao

And the thing was there is no onsen scene in the game IIRC, they just i guess rly liked the scene from Ayesha and they didn't know how to handle the plot and made it feel really weird and OOC it just felt like they reused the Persona 4 hot springs scenes cause thats exactly how P4 charas act

Like i rly am not a prude but it was so full of gratuitous shots of all the girls, they made Eschas boobs HUGE, and at the end they made her OOC when they found out Logy and Awin were in the one specific hot springs after them and she beat the shit out of Logy instead of actually hearing him out
