I like to say if we don’t help each other who will help us? Don’t we all need help at some point in our lives and Doesn’t it seem so clear that we need to help each other from that saying?

We have more to learn from listening with empathy to those we disagree with and asking thought provoking questions than we do by saying “you’re wrong I’m right and this is why”

ok, I'm genuinely curious, does anyone know if any attempt to rationally justify pardoning the Jan 6th insurrectionists was even attempted to be given? I looked for some, and all I saw was nonsense from trump about them being "political prisoners". They tried to kill our elected representatives!

Reason 2 is a stronger reason I'm on bluesky. Twitter used to not have hate speech I rarely used it. But I logged into bluesky and saw the CEO post about her swords. That's so cool I really want to support this company (since I collect swords too).

So I'm new to bluesky, but there are two reasons I think I may try to post here regularly:
1. I heard hate speech isn't allowed here, and I think all interactions should be polite. Hate speech is not polite. Unsavory opinions I'm fine with,but say them politely and let me ask you why you have them

So... I've got a sword collection, and now you've made me want to gift my daughters a sword, since they're both into swords like me. Glad to see you being open about enjoying swords too!
