I've come to believe that Trump has fooled even himself into believing everything he says. I'll never understand why some intelligent people can ignore this fact and continue support who has to be the least intelligent, most obnoxious president in our history.

Jesus threw the rich out of the temple.

We need to throw the rich out of Government and all our essential services.

Get the 'money lenders' in the gutter where they belong.

Panel discussion on community energy with six speakers seated at a table. A large screen behind them displays their names and titles, set against a backdrop of a cartoon sun and solar panel, conveying a theme of sustainability.

Panel Two
COMMUNITY ENERGY

· Emma Fletcher - Director of Low Carbon Homes, Octopus Energy
· Livvy Hanks - General Manager, Our Power
· Joolz Thompson - Director, The Great Collaboration. Co-founder, Community Climate Action.
· Bethany Murrell - Climate Change Project Officer, Babergh and Mid Suffolk Council
· John Taylor - Head of Capacity Building and Strategic Development, Community Energy England

The afternoon focused on #CommunityEnergy. An interesting panel discussion. For me, community energy is a key that can unlock so many doors to resilience. There are some great things happening, community led projects owned by local shareholders. But many policy and systemic barriers remain.

🚨 BREAKING 🚨
The UK Govt has quietly published - without announcement - the Joint Intelligence Committee/DEFRA report it suppressed last October. They tried to sneak it out in the midst of crisis. Read and share:

“Global Biodiversity Loss, Ecosystem Collapse & National Security.”

I am proud to support the Waveney Valley bid for UK Town of Culture, a joint bid from our wonderful market towns of Beccles, Bungay, Diss, Eye, Halesworth and Harleston.

Once the infrastructure has been finished to deliver all the solar/wind throughout the U.K. we’ll be in a much stronger position for self sufficiency.
It’s happening but Rome wasn’t built in a day.

”Each parcel contained a sophisticated incendiary device. The tubes of cosmetics had been re-filled with a liquid high explosive and the ignition devices were hidden inside the cushions. Suranovas maintains he had no idea of this.”…even tho’ the parcels were handed over in a Vilnius Park

Totally agree that Channel 4 News is the only balanced televised news source in the UK. There are a plethora of reliable podcasts out there, but for television news, UK wise, Channel 4 is pretty much the only show in town.

Graphic from Safer Seas & Rivers Service. A website giving UK water quality statistics.

As spring returns and thoughts turn to outdoor swimming it’s important to know water quality.
#SSRS alerts bathers to water quality.
Write to your MP if quality is poor as they will know the area well & will have answers for you.

Does Donald Trump actually know what he’s doing?

His tramping around the world causing chaos leads me to think he doesn’t.

Unless it’s somebody else’s plan he’s enacting?

Fair point.
I should have said that I was incredulous.
Unbelievable that I got that wrong.🙄

I thought Starmer was on fire today at #pmq’s
He seems better at relaying his message since the departure of McSweeney.

BREAKING: “She (Kemi Badenoch) said the UK should have joined the U.S and Israel in the initial offensive strikes. Then yesterday in the wake of the economic consequences she totally abandoned her position... that is the mother of all u-turns..”

It was incredulous how many times she needed to be told that fuel duty has been frozen until September.

I find the BBC political reporters give much of their report over to their personal speculations, rather than sticking to reporting facts.

Perhaps they think we don’t notice?

I’ve written several complaints to the BBC and received weasel words back.

Cheshire Women’s Institute branch to close in solidarity with trans women A Cheshire Women’s Institute branch has announced it will close at the end of March after members voted overwhelmingly to suspend the group in protest at the national organisation’s exclusion of trans...

So sad, and so unnecessary. We offered a legal indemnity, against all legal risks, to the leadership of Women's Institute, and Girlguiding, so they could continue to include all women.

Both declined.

There’s those with the ability to look objectively at any given situation.

Then there’s those who blame everyone else for the direct results of their policies.

If only Allison Pearson had alerted her readers to facts.

Thatcher sold our North Sea oil rights.

Thatcher closed UK coal mines.

Cameron hollowed out UK gas storage facilities.

Miliband is ensuring we’re self sufficient in clean energy as you rightly point out.

Down with the farsighted!

Remember guys, you can’t afford a gas rig, or a coal mine, or a nuclear power station, but you can afford to put some cheap solar panels on your roof.

That’s why the fossil fuel industry has spent billions trying to kill renewable energy.

The dealer needs to keep you addicted.
