Another big win in court. A Connecticut judge denied ExxonMobilβs motion to strike our case against them.
ExxonMobil peddled climate lies for decades while profiting off the harm.
Weβre aggressively prosecuting this case to reveal all their lies and protect our communities.

Today, I joined a bipartisan coalition of attorneys generals urging Shopify to crack down on merchants selling illegal e-cigarettes.
These bootleg vapes are illegally imported, untested, unsafe, and target youth. Weβre shutting off the supply wherever it exists.

@blumenthal.senate.gov and I have fought to ensure travelers are compensated when airlines cause delays/cancel flights. The Trump admin is now dropping a proposal that would have required airlines to pay passengers when their plans are upended. This is unacceptable and weβll continue to fight.

Ding dong, DOGE is dead.
Donald Trump invited an unelected, erratic, and unaccountable billionaire to comb through our personal data and hack our government to pieces. DOGE was an unlawful utter disaster, and thatβs why we sued.

A federal judge has dismissed the baseless charges against New York Attorney General Letitia James.
This is another humiliating defeat for Donald Trump and his legal team and a victory for rule of law and our justice system. @newyorkstateag.bsky.social

We stopped the Trump Administration from illegally dismantling 4 vital federal agencies that Connecticut families rely on. These agencies protect workers, support museums and libraries, and help minority-owned businesses. #Connecticut

Today we announced a $714,446 settlement with dental practices that paid unlawful fees to recruit Medicaid patients.
Ivan Makar and Oleg Losin, the owners of Dent Plus and L&M, allegedly paid a third-party patient recruiting company $135 for each CT Medicaid patient the company referred to them.

The Public Utilities Regulatory Authority denied the sale of Aquarion. This sale would doubled water bills for 700,000 Connecticut customers and gutted public oversight and consumer protections. This deal was a costly loser for CT families, and I urged PURA to reject this deal.

I'm joining a coalition of attorneys general to urge the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia to uphold an order to halt the Trump's Administration's flawed "expedited removal" process. This process is putting Americans at risk for unlawful detention & deportation without due process.

Ruger is on notice. They know, we know, and criminals know that their RXM pistol can be easily converted to an illegal, lethal fully automatic weapon. They can modify their product to be safer, or they can continue to profit from crime and violence and answer to a lawsuit.

We've got grave public safety concerns regarding Ruger's semi-automatic pistols that can be easily converted using machine gun conversion devices into illegal fully automatic weapons as fast or faster than those deployed by the military.

Trumpβs actions have been unconscionable, unlawful and erratic, and states like ours had a moral imperative and legal right to act quickly to get funds out the door. Trump never had the authority to deny SNAP, and he doesnβt have the authority now to retaliate against states for doing our job.

Donald Trump wants us to take food off the plates of Connecticut families who finally just now got the chance to eat. Undo food stamps? Those funds were out the door on Saturday, and families were in the grocery stores all weekend. Weβre fighting this one to the bitter end.

Important update. SNAP is FULLY FUNDED in Connecticut as of today. The state has given assurance that it will backstop payment should the Trump administration persist in its callous effort to starve American families for political leverage.

Donald Trump is intentionally starving American families for political leverage.

This is cruel, this is wrong, and weβre asking the court to end this chaos and force Trump to what he should have done from day oneβfully fund SNAP and get American families the help they need immediately.

He has the funds and the authority to fully fund SNAP today. He can do this right now. But he is choosing to bog this down in needless red tape and overly complicated calculations because he wrongly believes maximizing pain is good for his politics.

We are back to court today to force Donald Trump to fully fund SNAP and to stop the President from purposely and illegally starving American families for political leverage.

American families are bankrolling Trumpβs irrational and erratic tariff war and can't afford this lawless overreach. Trump lost in the Court of International Trade. He lost in the Court of Appeals. Heβs wasting our money and inflicting lasting damage by continuing to push this fight.

SCOTUS will hear oral arguments this morning in our case challenging the Trump tariffs. Itβs time for the Supreme Court to stand up to this president, protect the rule of law, and stop this damaging economic war for good.

We have a court order that states Trump must use available contingency dollars to fund SNAP benefits. Should these cruel online rants develop into actual government action to violate a court order, we will return to court with the full weight of the law at our backs.
04.11.2025 18:37 β π 26 π 12 π¬ 1 π 0
Court orders are non-optional. Itβs clear that Donald Trump has no grasp of what is going on in his own White House beyond marble bathrooms and grotesque ballrooms, and no concern for the needless suffering he is inflicting on American families, including millions of his own supporters.
