Letters A L E built from Legos
Name Olivia is spelled using Legos to make the letters
Started with a 1st grade class today in #MakerEd & just loved the outcome of our first project. Ss built their names with a small set of random Legos and they were so creative, collaborative & encouraging in the process!

Projects, Purpose, and the Teenage Mind
Neuroscientist Mary Helen Immordino-Yang on why adolescent students search for deeper meaningβand what that tells us about designing schools that engage teens.
When we think of βlearning outcomesβ as the purpose of education and stop there, we miss out on the ultimate aim of schoolβwhich is to use the learning to build the person.
