Here's a little recap of my #runDisney Princess Half Marathon race experience. Finish time: 1:37:27 (7:26 min/mile), which is getting VERY close to my PR/PB, which I set in my 20's. That makes me VERY happy!

Let’s say a school board has a hunch that a teacher is stealing school supplies and based on that hunch they shut the whole school down for good. That’s basically what the DOGE bags are doing, under the guise of eliminating waste and fraud.

A commenter on TikTok tells me that if I don’t stop for character photos during a #runDisney race, I’m wasting my money. They also tell me I’m not supposed to go for a PR at a runDisney race. Sorry everyone, I didn’t get that memo.

My current daily snack habit: a bowl of animal crackers, pretzels, and a bit of dark chocolate. These animal crackers aren’t buttery, shortbread-esque ones. They are the dry ones, which for some reason I prefer.

I have a strong preference to focus on running just a single race during #runDisney race weekends, but when so many people are out there running already, it makes me so antsy to get started already. If tomorrow’s marathon goes well, I may try for Dopey next year.

Good move! I was doing the same for a while, but didn't keep up with Wordpress updates and my instance got hacked. I decided to decommission it rather than try to fix it.

Maybe it’s time to get back to self-hosted blogs, RSS feeds, and email?

I generally stick to posting frivolous content, but right now social media is a total wreck. Twitter (as it was) is long gone, TikTok may get banned, and Meta is starting to really piss me off. I miss the days of the internet when the rich and powerful didn’t have so much influence on it.
