Think of the positive - they will be consuming and wasting funds that might otherwise be donated to bloodthirsty MAGAs.

"We" might not, but Trump sure has. Unless the leaders of our fighting forces can stand up to him, they will soon find themselves shooting at friends, neighbors, and relatives.

Who ever thought Trump didn't think he'd piss people off? He delights in it. It takes puts focus on the outrage instead of on what he did (or will do next).

This is a weak justification for the institution of an authoritarian police state, especially one that targets marginalized people to satisfy the rage of some other marginalized people.

That is not where the "enemy within" is, according to Trump. Where that is seems to change by the hour, based on where and when he can deploy his thug resources. ICE needs to be shut down immediately. Nothing good for the US can come from Trump having a private hit squad at his beck and call.

And yet no one is making them obey the law. Their willingness to disobey the law is why they have their jobs. This is horrifying, and if we stand for this, we will accept pretty much anything.

Are you surprised? The tech billionaires and CEOs made it clear at the beginning of Trump's second presidency how brave they would be on the users' behalf, by rolling over and exposing their bellies and competing to see who could be more sycophantic.

It would be more effective if thinking people stopped watching anything from ABC, Disney, and Paramount for a week or two. They don't speak freedom, they speak money.
