Playing 8 higher level tournaments each summer did increase the range of schools interested in me and did improve my abilities, but I’m sure in most markets that’s not as beneficial

I guess I came from a unique background where I grew up in very rural America, didn’t have a consistently high level of high school competition, and played 4 sports (balanced baseball and basketball in the summers), so maybe my perspective is different than most targets

My experience has been far more with AAU than PG. What alternatives do you have in mind for exposure/high-level competition? I think both systems are broken and only getting worse, but I also know that I benefitted heavily from AAU
