I agree with the arguments but fear that constant stress has devastated many scientists’ motivation to do the basics. I see some anxious scientists being activated by this context, but I see many more simply shutting down, too depressed to function at the level needed to meet the moment. 💔

We need to understand this disorder better & not assume that all conditions need to be met. There are many different cutoffs. @clearlab.bsky.social made CPASS to help. DSM5 excludes subthreshold cyclicity. Or with PME & this is an issue for understanding the disorder.

DSM5 ignores unique trajectories. Unique trajectories are imp to understand for treatment options ++ @clearlab.bsky.social also if people arent careful this variability will be missed and

Fantastic phase aligned cycle scaling available for researchers interested. PACTS. Menstrual cycles and hormone levels can be quite different and this method helps. Sucidality idealisation also follows cyclicity @clearlab.bsky.social

To be clear, this is a new product that Novavax is trying to introduce to the market with a study of a different product from 2021. New products require new clinical studies. Under this administration, we are prioritizing the Gold Standard of Science--not what saves pharma companies "tens of millions of dollars." Headline: "FDA Asks Vaccine Maker to Complete New Clinical Trial for Delayed Covid-19 shot"

Again, they're trying to take away our vaccines.
