Can confirm. Personally seen activist actions go sideways, resulting in multiple arrests, which led to a halt of momentum toward the stated goal and a majority of energy going toward dealing with the legal fallout for everyone.

Literally 20 minutes of investigation will answer those questions definitively. It goes all the way to the bottom, and everyone serving the stars and stripes is complicit.
