That was the choice, and we see where things ended up, so let's avoid making the same errors again.

Of course. Listen to our show this week, we'll be talking about it. This is just in response to the discourse where people are saying Newsom is inevitable (he isn't.)

Not sure how this is relevant, but yes I agree. Release them all and prosecute everyone even remotely involved.

Trump is not just fine, but "We're not Trump" is not a great platform by itself

Stormtroopers weren't all that relevant to this video I just think dead stormtroopers are funny

I would also like for them to vote, and to do so they'll need a good candidate to get them off the couch.

A lot more unfortunately. But I truly believe there is something better on the other side.

LMAO yeah. A whole lot of people hearing what I didn't say in these replies. Maybe the American mind revolts at the idea of the world not having to suck, but I'm not willing to give up on that dream.

Butthead voice: Books kick ass

16.02.2026 23:00 — 👍 4    🔁 2    💬 0    📌 0

Books are still cool and will always be cool and they'll never take that from us

16.02.2026 22:46 — 👍 8    🔁 2    💬 0    📌 1

That applies for some voters, I don't think that applies for most of them.

This post was not meant as an argument in favor of 3rd parties. It was a point that the Dems should avoid alienating the left faction should they want to win

Also, look at the math for 24. If every single left 3rd party voter (Stein, West, and De la Cruz) voted for Harris, she still would have lost

Precisely. People don't just want us to vote blue, they want us to vote blue and also never complain about the obvious failings of the Democrats. That's a bridge too far (nor is it a healthy way to maintain a democracy or political party).

It's a beautiful day to argue online

16.02.2026 22:34 — 👍 3    🔁 0    💬 0    📌 0

Sounds good. Let's make sure whoever wins the primary is an actually good candidate. Also, let's actually have a primary this time.

You're aware that Hitler didn't win in 1932, yes? He lost and the liberal party appointed him to the Chancellorship anyway. The German left endlessly compromised with the right wing until they had given away all their leverage.

So yes, your analogy is apt, and personally, I'd like to avoid it.

My point wasn't that people should vote third party. My point was that it would be wise for the candidate not to be someone who causes a mass exodus of the potential Democratic coalition.

I'm not swearing fealty to a fictitious future candidate without conditions. I will support real candidates that are actually running.

That said, I have and will continue to do everything I can to fight against Trump.

I agree that ranked choice voting on a national level would be a big win.

Please reread what I wrote before getting angry about it.

Also, I've never said a word about Kamala owning a gun, nor did I make reference to the Cheneys here. No idea what you're talking about.

The future will be better, and it will be beautiful, and it will be because we didn't give up.

It's cheesy, but it's true.

I want to beat the GOP. Do you?

16.02.2026 21:44 — 👍 2    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

LMAO what

16.02.2026 21:42 — 👍 3    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

This is the logic that led to the defeats of Harris and Clinton. We win together.

16.02.2026 21:41 — 👍 2    🔁 0    💬 1    📌 0

Nope. I'd like to win.

16.02.2026 20:03 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 0    📌 0

Why is why it would behoove the Democratic Party to nominate someone that won't lead to a significant number of people voting third party.

I agree that there's plenty do between now and then. We actually have a midterm candidate coming on the show for our Wednesday episode. Just responding to the current discourse.

I'd recommend reading points 2 and 3 or else you're not getting the full point

I made this image for this video and you should all see it.

Felt. There’s very few author who get it right on the first draft, even among the greats. Getting your thoughts—even imperfectly—on the page already puts you ahead of millions of would-be writers who fail at that first, often hardest hurtle.

That advice is for me as much as for you though lmao
