Just been for an entirely futile x-ray, because by now even my GP has accepted that the issue is, and has prescribed me drugs for, nerve pain from a herniated disc trapping said nerve, but an x-ray on my thigh is apparently the gateway to an MRI to actually diagnose the issue. In maybe a few months.

Oh, I was drying a tea towel on the radiator above our cats' water fountain, and one dragged it into the fountain and the water covered the whole kitchen floor
