Honestly speaking there really is not enough time to read! I just took more print manga home to read all the while staring at more books.

At times I think it is not a manner of othering, but something where if you’re speaking Japanese then isn’t this an aspect of ensuring that there is manners on all sides? English does have Mr. Mrs. and Ms.

I just finished reading Yuki Hara’s Cocoon Entwined and what an ending. I was definitely enjoying this story with the relationship dynamics. The dress situation is just storytelling.

Anime NYC was last weekend and just finally having enough energy to think about my work write up.

Day four for AnimeNYC.. hoping to be able to go to some panels and artist alley today.

Had a bit of a face plant this morning and scrapped my knees. Thank you kindly #animenyc and Javits for first aid. It slightly burns, but I can still walk!

I went onto Twitter today in a long while and I still have my account there. This is because I finished reading 3rd volume of Wash It All Away and it was mentioned that the mangaka has a Twitter account.

Today as it is a “non work date” my goals are JAM JAM JAM, hopefully my voice won’t give out and hopefully what I bring to get autographs will not smear. I can’t imagine glossy magazine paper and sharpie do well.

Yesterday was day 2 of AnimeNYC. It was quite busy. So much to think about specifically what I can bring back to my work. Really happy to see some of my colleagues and of course run into some old con friends! I never see them unless there is an event. T_T

Yeah the commuter part is key if you travel into work on a daily basis. It was also great to see you!

I have a card, but I am not as comfortable with this. Even when I lived in another city, they had a monthly option with a number of rides.

Sad… I don’t want to use the OMNY. If they have a deadline for 12/31 they should still have metro card machines. Damn you @mtanyc

Walking to work this morning lots of construction and apparently a car accident with property damage. I walk in between that and a lot of police officers standing around.

Chasing after origami diagrams is like a rabbit hole for the sake of seeing a friend’s model and diagram. I found a book I would like to look at and it’s 100+ used.

I can definitely relate specifically. I have had commutes where it was bus and then train. That was like agony especially if summer sun beats down on you with no cover.

Got some unofficial business cards in the mail today that I did myself via good ole Vistap. I know I know I probably shouldn’t have, but when I have to show something productive to my day job then I will do what I can. If this doesn’t work out.. it’ll be origami stock.

On days I think about protest and marching I am currently working. What a time 😑 last time the pleeb was in term I was able to protest as I had time, but no work.. now it is just work…
