I'm aware there are some artists out there who may think getting better art materials will make their art look better.

While it can help to an extent, Learning and applying techniques and skills is FAR more important than spending a bunch of money on expensive materials.

The animation in 'Thru the Mirror' is masterful, turning what could've been another generic 30s dance routine into one of Mickey's best moments.
There's so much mesmerising fluidity and personality in each movement, with all its stretchiness.
