Enjoyed that one today. Yes, the win against City is ALWAYS a good feeling but for me, it was also about the way we performed.

Composed, more confident and hungry to get at the opponent. It wasn't all positive but the signs of improvement were there. That's essential to progress... The Amorim way.

Mainoo struggling it seems. Still not 100%. Bruno not playing great into the 2nd half. Pretty lacklustre... again.

We've actually looked pretty balanced on the whole and was very much in the game. Absolutely heartbroken for Mount, guy can't catch a break with injuries. Mainoo his replacement has done ok but lacking a bit of sharpness. Bruno helping at CAM. Amad/Hojlund need a little patience.

Not bad half that, just not a particularly good one. Yes, we made City's life difficult and broke into counter a few times but our situational management in the final-third, isn't there yet.

Slow to react for the set-peice corner, that cost us.

This one is 'do or die' for the squad. Pep's side have won 1 in their last 10 games, so will be hungry to take advantage of a struggling United team but conversely, with the right performance; City are there for the taking!

However, Garnacho would perhaps be more fresh to start and we need his energy to disrupt in the final third. Rashford could even be used as striker in Amorim's system, with Zirkzee coming on at sub at No.10; that seemed the dynamic potential last night.

Maguire/De Ligt for squad rotation.

I'd maybe sub him with Bruno at half time and rest Fernandes (after playing midfield last night). Rashford struggled in that performance but not entirely his fault. The lack of presence was lacking up top from Zirkzee (who naturally drops deep). With Hojlund it could be different.

As mentioned this morning, here's how I'd line the team up for Sunday's game against City:

Feel Dalot struggled at RWB last night and we need progression there, so would switch to Amad (Antony sub). Malacia the same, Dalot to LWB. Mount looked good last but we need his impact off the bench.
