On some level this is definitely an investment, intentional or not, right? He's encouraging fans to be super dedicated. This costs him pennies and generates tons of good will. There isn't a fanbase in the league that wouldn't wan him as their owner by now.

There will be bad impacts.
The overwhelming majority of meetings can (and should) be an email, or avoided altogether. Meetings are a tool of upper management to make themselves think they're important and force a captive audience. No real work gets done. Very bad.
And they are not fun.
I don't know which Paul boy is fighting, I just know that they're both obnoxious and that was the single worst walk-on in the history of sports.
