I discovered some fantastic trail routes, several which were quite technical around Timanfaya National Park ๐ but every mile was hugely enjoyable.
And of course, I couldnโt ignore Lanzaroteโs unique wine culture ๐ท

๐ We did a 10km 2 days ago in the central valley that was 1400ft total - I needed a rest day yesterday as my legs were ruined ๐

Today was Nantwich 10km ๐โโ๏ธ
This is a lovely race to do as itโs pretty flat and was also my first race of 2026.
Went out with a sub-50 in mind so Iโm pretty happy with an official 48.17 today, which is a reasonable benchmark for the year ahead.

If you are looking to shake up your interval runs, find those Strava segments with the weird names & use those for your speed and sprint work ๐โโ๏ธ
You can always revisit them again to see if you have improved!
I pick the ones that are between around 50 seconds > 2.30mins ๐
