In short, the tan lady is Eleonore and the guy in white is her husband Gerard - the Crown Prince of Epheziran. These babies belong to @jeremy-2772 on tumblr. Please check the pinned post on her main (or her unvale @Jeremy27) to learn more about them.
Eleonore is sat on hair, as she is comforted by her 3 ladies-in-waiting. The scene takes places in a dark room (persumably her bed chamber).
A french-style garden basking in warm afternoon light. A young man dressed in 18th century attire (and of slightly round proportions) is walking along one of its paths. His his experssion seem tense: Perhaps he is deep in thought? Regardless, I think it would be best not to vex him. In the background, an faint outline of a palace can be seen.
A sketch book page with a drawing of a tan, dark-haired woman. She is dressed in yellow a 1730s style gown and has a blue fur-trimmed cape loosely draped over her shoulders. The empty page-space if filled with little stylised leaves and lilies. In the corner of the page there's text saying "Eleonore (sorry for your husband being gay)"
Anyways I'm mostly on tumblr but here's so funart of my friend's ocs:

30.09.2025 07:40 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I don't remember that part tbh. Welp, that just gives me an excuse to rewatch it.

13.09.2025 07:10 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Ok, so I've named my Yorkshire backwater at last! It's called Houndsbrow Hall. It sits atop Sorrel Hill and overlooks the Red Beck (brook). I ended up using "Don in Yon Forest" as inspo. Thanks @cassandrahase.bsky.social!

(kinda cheating, but here goes:)
Also, I was always kind of curious, are the spots on his face freackles, moles, blush, or further unspecified skin texture? Becuase other charaters don't seem to have them.

07.09.2025 09:54 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I have this problem because I have a relatively insignificant (as in unimperssive) manor house I have to name. And it doesn't have much of a vibe. It's just some backwater in Yorkshire.
07.09.2025 00:03 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0#writing #worldbuilding How do you people come up with names for fictional manor houses or towns for period/contemporary settings?

Probably, I find hiding easter eggs for myself really motivating for some reason. Though, family/friend inside jokes never find their way into my work (when I'm writing in English at least). Otherwise, anything goes tbh

Apparently, I've only used the word "white" twice so far...
Yes! Apathy is a bit of a theme in general. However, the second Mrs Umpleby (Sukey) grew up in a hostile home enviorment where she was often forced either to silently observe, or cooerced into directly participating in abuse for fear of reprocussions; she feels totally helpless in the face of evil.

Hmm... I will have to add to this, because I did hear this truism when starting out and found that it rather discourged me.
'Even your worst, most self-endulgent, cringy crap will spark joy when you look back at it if it had been made with love.'
A plumpish blonde with a vaguely ancient greek inspired updo stand looking to the side. She is covering herself with green cloth - a part of her buttocks and her right nipple are exposed.
Play/Book Mrs Lofthouse - tastefully nude. This is an old one, but she's too pretty to be confined to my sketch book.

31.08.2025 16:06 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The play is basically a cheeky fanfic. It's about that same Mr Umpleby and his friend's wife (Mrs Lofthouse) cheating on their respective spouses. There are multible canon divergences such as the main characters having different names and straight-up supernatural stuff. It's very much its own thing.
31.08.2025 10:12 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The novel is set in 1830s England (mostly in the West Riding) It's about a agnostic lawyer (Mr Umpleby) navigating his relationship with faith and morality, as well as with his two wives. As you can likely guess, it's far from completion. (I'm probably too young to be writing it anyways.)
31.08.2025 10:09 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Hi! I'm Sal (a casual). I have two WIPs - a novel called "A Heathen's Wager" and a spin-off play called "The Devils's Rib". The latter of which is actually available publically and is semi close to being finished.
