In short, the tan lady is Eleonore and the guy in white is her husband Gerard - the Crown Prince of Epheziran. These babies belong to @jeremy-2772 on tumblr. Please check the pinned post on her main (or her unvale @Jeremy27) to learn more about them.

Eleonore is sat on hair, as she is comforted by her 3 ladies-in-waiting. The scene takes places in a dark room (persumably her bed chamber).

Ok, so I've named my Yorkshire backwater at last! It's called Houndsbrow Hall. It sits atop Sorrel Hill and overlooks the Red Beck (brook). I ended up using "Don in Yon Forest" as inspo. Thanks @cassandrahase.bsky.social!

Also, I was always kind of curious, are the spots on his face freackles, moles, blush, or further unspecified skin texture? Becuase other charaters don't seem to have them.

I have this problem because I have a relatively insignificant (as in unimperssive) manor house I have to name. And it doesn't have much of a vibe. It's just some backwater in Yorkshire.

The play is basically a cheeky fanfic. It's about that same Mr Umpleby and his friend's wife (Mrs Lofthouse) cheating on their respective spouses. There are multible canon divergences such as the main characters having different names and straight-up supernatural stuff. It's very much its own thing.

The novel is set in 1830s England (mostly in the West Riding) It's about a agnostic lawyer (Mr Umpleby) navigating his relationship with faith and morality, as well as with his two wives. As you can likely guess, it's far from completion. (I'm probably too young to be writing it anyways.)
