in fact easy game concept, wake up on the island, you can walk around and talk to other people who are also on the island and find out about them a little more every day. Some of them are cute creatures, one is a mad 340 year old general plucked from his time and place. !!

My video game theory is that the less players a pvp game has in each match, the madder the people playing get. Moba and counter strike players are always pissed because the servers have only like 10 people, it follows that battlefield players are enraptured in a trance like state

Insofar it is unusual for any American AAA game to have a lot of influence by any single artist. I guess the better question is would half life 2s setting been as memorable if the art director was born and raised in the United States.
