Everything the Bolivian government is doing is to avoid devaluating and admitting we are in a horrible economic crisis. They are using and selling everything left to avoid cutting their own wages, stupid government departments that don't work, and keeping the official exchange of the dollar at 6.89.

Bolivia is so fucked up.
The government just announced "measurements" that will take to improve the fuel scarcity.
Public workers will work remotely part of their jobs and schools will have to go remote AGAIN. As if it would mean any meaningful education.

Today has been a long day. I wish I could go somewhere nobody knows me. Where I don't have to fake happiness for people who have hurt me. Where I can take them out of my life. Where my worth doesn't depend on how successful I can make others.

Sometimes I get so attached to helping others... But after being so involved I find out they are not always good people?
I believe so much in their worth but it's like they are not who I thought they were. Maybe i'm just lying to myself... Or projecting my own ideas of them.

The effect FB has had on the middle age & senior pop has been terrible. They are the most stubborn when trying to talk abt disinformation.
The effect of tik tok and gamer streamings on the younger population has been awful too.

~5 years later and Bolivia is the same. Most people critical of this gov are Milei lovers and since Trump got elected again, every social media is justifying every action that Trump makes in very ridiculous ways to make it sound as a genious move. Same for Milei, and people BUY IT. It's enraging.

I rememeber when my vietnamese roommate told me she would fight with their parents about Trump (this was during his 1st term). Apparently the avg vietnamese who was tired of their own gov would love Trump. I just thought it must be rough to disagree about politics with family.
