That's the exact same scammer I got this morning too.

But there absolutely will not be any Nintendo based hobby projects from me. Not a chance.

I grew up on NES and SNES so that's got nostalgia.

But after the most recent round of Nintendo being Nintendo, I kinda have no interest in making anything Nintendo related. Not even an emulator, which I know they hate anyways.

So maybe a Sega-based emulator, or another project, we'll see.

After finishing my first version of my CHIP8 emulator, I was debating moving on to something a bit more challenging to try and emulate, to see if I could even get a basic version working.

My first though was to do a 6502 / NES emulator (the 6502 is a neat processor) or even a SNES emulator!

I've seen enough about it already that I need to put this out there.

I know a group of friends who do something like that. They run a virtual game once a month on a schedule, and the rest of the time is offline RP-style continuation of the same game, done in smaller text messages at their leisure.

It seems to work very well for that group.
